We’re pleased to offer Story@Home as part of RootsTech 2013. Every family has a story and within that story is power to connect in new ways with those you cherish most. For a second year, Story@Home provides classes and performances by award-winning storytellers, performers, and speakers to help you discover how to preserve and share your stories as part of your family history pursuits.

Whether your story is written in a blog or shared as a living memory, Story@Home will help you bring your stories to life. Story@Home covers topics like:

What is the cost?

Story@Home, as part of RootsTech 2013, is available to attendees in various ways:

  • Register for a Full Conference Pass (including Full 1-day passes and the student pass) and you have access to all Story@Home classes at no additional charge.
  • Register for a Combo Pass and get access to both Getting Started and Story@Home classes for just $79.
  • Add Story@Home classes to an existing Getting Started registration for an additional $40. Simply edit your registration, choose the Combo Pass, and pay the difference.

Story@Home Presents: An Evening of Storytelling

Friday, March 22, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE

There’s nothing like sitting back to listen to a well told story. Join us at the Conference Center Theater for an entertaining evening with our featured storytellers as they tell some of their favorite stories. Your sure to delight in the uniqueness of each storyteller while celebrating in the commonalities we all share.

6:00 PM Pre-show with Clive Romney
6:30 PM Storytelling Concert featuring: Ginger Parkinson, Jan Smith, Syd Lieberman, and Kim Weitkamp, with Emcee Teresa Clark.

No registration is needed for this event. Seating will be on a first come, first seated bases. We recommend you arrive early as this venue only seats 150 folks.
