3 MORE Exciting Things to Look Forward to at RootsTech 2020

We are already so excited for RootsTech 2020 and to celebrate #RootsTech10Years. Over the past 10 years, we have loved getting to know so many of you and have enjoyed reading all of your feedback—the good, the bad, and the ugly. So, leading into the 10th anniversary we are excited to bring a conference that is bigger and better than ever! Here are a few things you can look forward to:

Coaches Corner

Back for its fourth year, the Coaches Corner in the exhibition hall has become a RootsTech staple over the last few years. If you have a brick wall you can't seem to get past, you can come and work with certified genealogists and get some help. Come with your questions and get one-on-one collaborative help to help you break through those brick walls.

Family History Library

Located a block north of the Salt Palace Convention Center, the Family History Library offers a host of records, genealogical publications, documents, and research guides from more than 100 countries. Bring your unsolvable genealogy dilemmas, and spend some time with experienced genealogists who are willing to help you find that missing ancestor.

Heirloom Show and Tell

If you have been to RootsTech in the past, you may have seen the Heirloom Show and Tell area in the Expo Hall. Here you can bring your family heirlooms and learn more about them! This is a don't miss even if you don't have an heirloom to bring. You can come and watch and learn more history.

New! Lunch and Learn Sessions

This is something new to the event that we are excited to try! While we are unable to offer a free boxed lunch this year, we are excited to share with you our idea for lunch and learn sessions. These sessions will take place during the lunch hour and will be available for pre-purchase during registration. Attendees who purchase lunch and learn sessions will get a boxed lunch and guaranteed seat in the lunch and learn classroom. Attendees will pick up their boxed lunch, sit down in the room, and enjoy more learning from an instructor. One to two of these sessions will be offered each day. Watch for more information about them when registration opens on September 18.

We want to hear from you! What are you looking forward to most about RootsTech2020? Share with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and use #RootsTech10Years! Can’t wait to join us? Mark your calendars; registration opens September 18th!
