Photo Sleuthing

Being a genealogist is a lot like being a detective. Whether you are sleuthing in your DNA, old journals, or photographs, finding little details and missing links is the fuel that keeps many genealogists going.

That includes Maureen Taylor, more commonly known as The Photo Detective. Taylor has made a name for herself with her uncanny ability to find stories in photographs with her proven methods.

We sat down with Taylor at RootsTech 2017, and she told us her story of finding the real story in a photograph from her parents' wedding.
