New at RootsTech! Personalized Help for Finding Family Names for the Temple

For the first time at RootsTech, FamilySearch is offering free personalized 1-on-1 help to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who would like to find a family name for temple work. The experience is meant primarily for family history beginners who have never had success finding a name for temple work.

Here’s how it works:

• Click on the Sign Up Today link.
• Select a day and time to meet with your own personal helper.
• Before your scheduled meeting, your helper will identify opportunities for temple work in your family tree. He or she may contact you before RootsTech.
• On your selected day and time, your helper will walk you through a personalized step-by-step plan.

Please note that this experience is not intended to address difficult research questions. These questions are better addressed in the Coaches’ Corner found in the Expo Hall.
