Light Keepers: A Family History Experience for Women is a hands-on experience that will take place during RootsTech on Thursday, March 1, 2018. You’ll be introduced to the basics of family history by passionate and energetic experts, and you’ll learn simple, fun ways to incorporate it into your life.  

You’re going to love the unique and uplifting atmosphere that will be brimming with fresh ideas, creativity, and of course, sharing. Get ready for a special day of togetherness with the women in your life, a day that will motivate, teach, and inspire you to see your family history in wonderful new ways.

As part of the Light Keepers event, you’ll receive an inspiring workbook written by featured presenters, Rhonna Farrer and Allison Kimball. This workbook will walk you through your family history with simple prompts and activities and teach you how to begin your family history journey heart first.

We invite you to prepare spiritually for this special event. You might also want to take the time to read or watch this talk given by Sister Wendy Nelson. She enjoys creating on a daily basis and is inspired by her family and her faith. She loves teaching friends of all ages how to use social media for good and how to share their own goodness with others. One of her favorite ways of doing this is sharing family history through social media and by using apps on handheld devices.
